As our Content & Community Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing our marketing content initiatives, ensuring target audience engagement and brand consistency across all our digital channels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our content strategy, identifying engaging angles, and inspiring our audience through different types of written content. Additionally, you will engage and build a global community in our social media channels, using a wide range of different formats aligned with our brand profiles.
We are looking for a skilled writer with social media expertise who can produce and publish relevant content on NFM's own channels, including our website, intranet, newsletter, and social media. You should have a background in journalism, content production, or copywriting, and a passion for creating engaging and relevant stories for different audiences. You should be a strategic thinker who always considers the long-term objectives of content marketing and knows how to plan ahead to ensure great quality in day-to-day posts, as well as in all different phases of a project or campaign.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly competent team of colleagues who specialize in various marketing disciplines. You will be encouraged to find new opportunities, think creatively, and continuously optimize the effect of your content to increase engagement and build a community.
Your personal qualities:
The ideal candidate for the Content & Community Manager role should be a creative, positive, self-motivated, and ambitious individual with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
They should be proactive, structured, and have good planning abilities, respecting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
They should be a team player who can also work independently, willing to explore new things and take on tasks as needed to achieve common goals.
The candidate should have excellent implementation skills and production capacity and keep up-to-date with industry trends and news.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, PR, content marketing, advertisement, media, or marketing. However, extensive relevant experience can also compensate for the lack of formal education.
They should have a minimum of two years of experience producing content and achieving measurable results. Experience working on projects or campaigns in-house or from an agency or consultancy is essential. Familiarity with B2B, B2G, the Armed Forces, or the defense industry is an advantage but not required.
English and Norwegian fluency, both orally and written is necessary.
While experience with editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Canva, or Photoshop is an advantage, it is not mandatory.
